We’re excited to be entering the design and implementation phases of a transformative SAP enterprise structure project for one of our long-standing customers, a world-leading manufacturer of ejection seats and aviation safety equipment.
This latest project builds on a trusted partnership built through several successful engagements together. This includes the deployment of PreBilt™, which has already delivered measurable improvements by enhancing stock visibility, reducing manual effort and improving usability for warehouse teams.
As the customer kicked off a brownfield migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, it became clear that its existing SAP enterprise structure no longer reflected the scale or complexity of its operations. To address this, we were initially engaged to conduct a feasibility study and Proof of Concept (PoC) where we recommended a more scalable model featuring two plants and three warehouses. With the PoC now successfully complete, we’re moving into the next phases of the project which will include a detailed solution design followed by implementation.
During the design phase, our expert consultants will translate the PoC into a robust, future-ready solution aligned with SAP best practices and the customer’s evolving business needs. Key deliverables will include:
- A comprehensive enterprise structure design to support multi-site operations.
- Configuration of inter-site stock transfers to streamline internal logistics.
- PreBilt™ enhancements tailored to new workflows and site-specific requirements.
- A master data strategy to ensure consistency and accuracy across the expanded structure.
- A code review of existing developments to ensure alignment with the new design.
Once the design is signed off, we will be configuring the new enterprise structure in the customer’s development environment. The implementation phase will include:
- SAP configuration and transport management for new plants, warehouses and stock transfer processes.
- Deployment of PreBilt™ for WM to 20 additional users.
- Master data migration and validation to ensure readiness for go-live.
- User training using a ‘train the trainer’ approach.
- Knowledge transfer to support a smooth transition to BAU.
- SIT and UAT support followed by cutover and go-live assistance.
