We’re excited to be working with a new customer, a leading global pharmaceutical company, supporting its transition to SAP through targeted training for key users across seven critical modules.
As the organisation rolls out SAP across its UK sites, it is moving away from its legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, JD Edwards. Recognising the need to upskill its workforce, and based on our deep modular expertise across the SAP landscape, the customer asked us to assist.
Our team will now be delivering comprehensive training to ten key users in the following modules:
- Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Finance and Controlling (FICO)
- Materials Management (MM)
- Production Planning (PP)
- Plant Maintenance (PM)
- Quality Management (QM)
- Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
The primary goal of this training is to equip the users with a solid understanding of SAP document flows and enable them to confidently handle level one support queries going forwards. The training will also provide foundational ERP knowledge to ease the transition from JD Edwards to SAP.
As part of this engagement, we will be delivering the following:
- Solution architect or senior functional consultant-led training sessions for each functional area
- Comprehensive training materials developed using our own SAP system
- Process overviews for each module, including key transactions and handoff points to other modules
- Core ERP concepts, including:
- Basic SAP navigation
- Troubleshooting common issues (e.g., error messages and authorisation problems)
- Locating transaction codes and navigating the SAP menu
The training will be delivered over one week, with two dedicated Q&A sessions included to address user queries and further reinforce learning. All training materials will be handed over to the customer for future use, supporting ongoing learning and onboarding as the new SAP solution becomes more widely used.
