Customer Stories - Foodstuffs South Island

Building a connected digital supply chain, ready for what's next

Foodstuffs South Island wanted more than a system upgrade. Serving hundreds of stores and moving more than a million cartons every week, it needed a supply chain that could connect warehouse operations, transport planning and data driven decision making. Today, it has a scalable digital foundation designed to support future growth, innovation and continuous improvement.

With more than 1.2 million cartons moving through its supply chain every week, Foodstuffs South Island recognised an opportunity to modernise how its distribution network operated. Rather than replacing individual systems, the organisation set out to create a connected digital supply chain that would improve visibility, support better decision making and provide a platform for future innovation.

Working alongside Foodstuffs South Island, TCT helped deliver a transformation programme spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM and SAP TM. Taking a phased approach, the programme modernised warehouse and transport operations across multiple distribution centres while introducing stronger reporting, operational visibility and more connected processes. The result is a unified supply chain foundation that enables continuous optimisation today and supports future automation, advanced analytics and AI driven innovation.
