A world leader of in vitro diagnostics is transforming its supply chain activity with an enhanced SAP user experience to deliver increased stock accuracy and improved traceability, while driving user engagement at a warehouse facility in Wales.
The company operates SAP Warehouse Management (WM) at this location, with manual and paper-based processes used to manage supply chain operations. The inefficient and error prone nature of this activity has led to slow task completion, with human error and inaccurate data recording limiting product traceability.
To modernise its supply chain and address these challenges, the customer was looking to introduce a mobile scanning solution, with the specific goal of improving user experience, productivity and traceability throughout its supply chain.
Introducing PreBilt, the customer can eliminate the use of paper, streamlining core processes including goods receiving, labelling and physical inventory counting. Operators will no longer need to complete any manual data entry, preventing human error while promoting faster task completion for improved accuracy and productivity.
