A leading pump solutions manufacturer is sustaining efficient operations as it moves from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, supporting change management by implementing a unified user experience (UX) at its warehouse facility in the Netherlands.
The new customer operates SAP Warehouse Management (WM) at this location and is planning its transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, but was concerned that the change could lead to confusion, delays and downtime. The standard SAP mobile solution, combined with manual paper-based processes, is currently used to manage warehouse activity. However, the operation is struggling with useability, as operators find the solution difficult to use, leading to slower task completion. User experience is central to PreBilt, and was the key driver in deploying the solution, with the streamlined workflows, clear screens and an intuitive interface ensuring user adoption and engagement.
While this enhanced ease-of-use will streamline daily tasks and speed up task execution times, the simple configuration enables screens to be quickly changed to meet the requirements for the customer’s warehouse teams. Likewise, the solution’s text elements can be translated into any language available in the SAP language packs, using a drop-down menu during login. This allows users to select a preferred language, in this case between English and Dutch, ensuring they can interact comfortably with PreBilt and avoiding any errors or delays from mistranslations.
